About Us
After well over a decade working in the telecom industry, I noticed a disconnect between the use of technology and professional service providers. Given my experience in the hands-on area of tech, along with my management skills, I opened PTC. My clients range from professional mediators that run their meetings online, to mental health providers that want to deliver high quality trainings to their clients. Since 2020, I have set up and provided various types of online events for over 3000 unique sessions. I strive to provide patient, knowledgeable online meeting support so my clients can focus more on what they do best - helping their clients.
Marlon Hanssens - Owner @ PTC
Testimonials
“Our mediation group hired Marlon Hanssens and Pacific Telecom to assist us in developing an online platform for conducting mediations. He provided us with his recommendations on products available and swiftly trained our group to proficiency. Technical support is provided in a prompt “on the fly “ fashion during live meetings to both mediators and clients. We highly recommend Marlon as an IT professional.”
Jim Russell
Mediator
“Marlon has been a key player in pivoting my practice from face to face to virtual mediation. He has the unique ability of being able to bridge the divide between the technological world and the reality of my professional life. He’s always there when I need him, and always a pleasure to work with.”
Nick de Domenico
Mediator
“I've dealt with Marlon since the beginning of Covid (March 2020) when in-person meetings were forced onto the Zoomscape of video-conferencing. Marlon quickly brought my group up to speed on the Zoom platform, and as part of his service, has kept my practice on track with reliable IT oversight of my meetings. PTC will continue as a part of my organization well into the future.”
Michael McCrodan
Resolution Consultant
“Covid has had an impact on how most of us do our work. As a mediator, I have experienced this firsthand. When the parties to a mediation once met face to face, they were then forced to do virtual mediations. This was a new experience for many people, including me. To continue using mediations as a dispute resolution mechanism it was necessary to resort to Zoom and, in some cases, to MS Teams. This is where Marlon came in. Not only did Marlon provide me with the training I needed but he also assists everyone involved in my mediations with whatever technical support that is required. From setting up the meetings and creating breakout rooms for the parties to notifying everyone, Marlon does it all. Marlon is always immediately available and responsive. He clearly knows his job, and he is able to patiently communicate with any person regardless of their familiarity with computers and software. Without Marlon, I am not sure what I would have done.”

Mediator
"Over the past couple of years, my training and mediation practice has largely switched primarily to online delivery. Being a busy professional, I don’t have time to worry about the technology supporting my practice. When delivering online training programs over Zoom, I rely on Marlon at Pacific Telecom to set-up and support the sessions and the students from a technology perspective so that I can focus all of my attention on delivering content to the class. It’s been wonderful great working with Pacific Telecom and I highly recommend giving them a call for both online training and mediation support."
Arlene H. Henry, K.C.
Lawyer & Mediator
"When life changed completely with the shutting down of in-person mediations, Marlon was there to provide training and assistance to myself and several others allowing us to pivot from meeting in-person to mediating on-line. He offered training, not only to several mediators, but also to our clients (the latter at no charge!) relating to how to navigate through zoom. He set up my mediations, including breakout rooms, and contacted all participants with links to access the mediation on the day of. He was ready, willing and totally available to assist with all technical issues arising (which was particularly the case in the early days!). I have referred several of my colleagues to Marlon and all of them have been delighted with his services."
